Preparing a House For Sale

Following a recent extension, this property needed a complete refresh inside and out to prepare it for sale.

  • We painted all internal walls in a clean, all-white neutral finish, creating a bright, cohesive look that let the property's features speak for themselves.

  • Internal doors were finished with a clear oil, adding a subtle natural touch while protecting the timber.

  • With a sale in mind, precision mattered. Every surface throughout the property was finished to an exacting standard.

  • The result: the owner was delighted with the finish, and the property soon received an offer when placed on the market, so a brilliant outcome, and a great project to be involved with.

Period Property Restoration

This beautiful period property called for a sensitive, considered approach — respecting its character while bringing every surface back to its best.

  • Exterior - we applied a traditional masonry paint to the walls allowing the building to breathe and helping protect against damp and decay.

  • External oak beams were treated with linseed oil, nourishing the timber and enhancing its natural grain and colour.

  • Windows were re-stained to restore their character and iron window frames painted black for a crisp, protective finish.

  • A number of external timber doors and gates were re-stained to complement the overall look.

  • Inside we continued the linseed oil treatment on the oak beams and window frames, bringing warmth and richness through to the interior.

  • A number of rooms were re-decorated throughout, and we painted an area of internal floor tiles to refresh the space.

  • The result: a home that honours its period features while feeling refreshed, cared for, and ready for years to come.
